On a wet Saturday morning in February, a beautiful local family were in a devastating car accident. They were on their way to soccer training – a trip they’ve made hundreds of times with their two sons, Seth and Archie. The crash killed their oldest son, Archie, and resulted in Seth and his father, Neil, being airlifted to Westmead Hospital. Neil remains in intensive care and the full extent of his injuries are still uncertain.
In season 2020 Barnstoneworth United Central Coast raised over $1900 in support of mental health charity Beyond Blue.

The crack fighting unit of the Barnstoneworth Over 45C1 team trooped out onto the sunlit field of dreams that is Eastern Road Oval 1, led by one James ‘Jim’ McClaren in pursuit of glory yet again, though this time with added Pyom and Westy. The pre-season may have been socially distanced, but the formation and subs plan were clear, the hands duly sanitised, and the fighting spirit undiminished.

The Over 45 B’s 2018 Grand Final between Barnstoneworth and Ourimbah was a great game played in a fantastic spirit by 2 evenly matched teams.
The game was very close from the kick off with Barnstoneworth pushing forward to the lead with a great headed goal scored by Dougie White. Barnstoneworth looked comfortable holding onto the lead until Ourimbah mounted one of their few attacks, during which the ref awarded what can only be described as a dubious penalty, which was converted making it 1-1. The season has been long and very enjoyable and we still have 4 out of 8 teams in contention for finals football. There were definitely no boring draws during the Week 12 games!!! Jason Parelli managed to score 6 (six!) goals for 45C to almost double their total goal tally which previously stood at 7 goals! WOWSERS! There were 30 goals across just 5 games… Read more
