The Barnstoneworth MAA boys managed to secure their first 3 points of the season with a smashing 5-2 victory over a young Umina side. The day started off lousy with our referee pulling out (shouldn’t have relied on the birthday boy refereeing after his party!) but we managed to find a back up!
First game for a lot of the new boys in 35D’s, playing against an Avoca side that have been together for a few years, and we gave a good account of ourselves.
So good to finally have a game!! A fairly typical season opener – great in patches and “not so great” in others….
