Joadja Cup

On Saturday 14th March a selection of four BUFC A grade players were invited to participate in the annual Joadja Cup football match in Bowral.
The Joadja Cup is reported to be the oldest football trophy being played in Australia and played by an invitational England team against the old foes Scotland.

The teams met at the Scottish Arms where the players recieved their respective team strips.The two teams then paraded behind traditional bagpipe and drummers to the ground.
SBS were available to take footage of the highlights which will be televised on the SBS World Game.
It was a tight contest with a well fought out 2-2 draw.
The day was then wrapped up back at the pub with traditional Scottish music and a few beers.
